Monitoring and Evaluation Activity | April 30, 2026

Bugasong Medicare Community Hospital extends its sincere gratitude to the DOH Region VI – MAIFIP Representative, Ma’am Glory Joy M. Francisco, together with the supportive team from the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), for conducting the Monitoring and Evaluation Activity at BMCH.

The activity focused on the assessment of the Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP) Program, a Department of Health initiative that provides financial medical assistance to qualified patients, ensuring accessible and quality healthcare services.

With the strong leadership, guidance, and support of Dr. Mary Precious M. Traviña, OIC-Chief of Hospital, and through the dedicated efforts of BMCH MAIFIP Focal Person Ms. Myka Hanna L. Magabilin, Administrative Assistant III, together with the active and prompt support of Alternate MAIFIP Focal Person Ms. Myfel M. Villanueva, who efficiently handled the reports and documentation, BMCH successfully demonstrated its commitment to effective program implementation.

During the exit conference, BMCH received encouraging and positive feedback recognizing the hospital’s continuous efforts in implementing the program effectively. We are humbled by the acknowledgment of several best practices, reflecting our shared commitment to service improvement and patient-centered care.

These commendations inspire us to further strengthen our implementation and continuously improve the quality of healthcare services for Bugasong and neighboring communities within our service coverage area.

BMCH remains grateful for the valuable guidance, support, and recommendations as we continue striving for excellence in public health service delivery.

Congratulations to Bugasong Medicare Community Hospital for the successful conduct of the assessment, validation, and monitoring activity led by the Department of Health Region VI (Western Visayas Center for Health Development), through the Regional Office eHealth Technical Support Team (ROeHTST), in collaboration with the Provincial Health Office.

This significant milestone reflects our continued commitment to the Province wide Health System and the attainment of the Key Results Areas under Universal Health Care (UHC), particularly in the advancement and functionalization of the Electronic Medical Record System (FEMRACE).

We extend our deepest appreciation to our OIC-Chief of Hospital, Dr. Mary Precious M. Traviña, together with Computer Maintenance Technologist I, Mr. Jay Ven D. Through the Heat Wave Awareness ‘Sip Sip Hooray’ Campaign, we turn a simple act into a shared responsibility.

Launched on April 15, 2026,this initiative was led by Dr. Mary Precious M. Traviña, OIC–Chief of Hospital, and facilitated by Dr. Lazel O. Bacosa with Health Promotion Officer Ms. Ana Marie Karen C. Magabilin, in collaboration with our dedicated OPD personnel, alongside MANCOM and BMCH staff.
