Here are 5 things every parent should know about their newborn:

🍼 Feeds very often
Those tiny tummies need frequent refills. Feeding every 1–3 hours (even at night) is completely normal. Cluster feeding ≠ low milk.

😴 Sleep is irregular
Short naps, night waking, and unpredictable patterns are part of newborn life. It’s normal — and it won’t last forever.

😭 Crying is communication
Your baby isn’t being “difficult.” Crying is how they say I’m hungry, uncomfortable, or I need you. You can’t spoil a newborn with love.

🤍 Their body is still adjusting
Hiccups, sneezes, wiggles, startle reflexes, and noisy breathing are all signs of a developing nervous system.

🤱 Cuddles are essential
Skin-to-skin and closeness help regulate your baby’s heart rate, breathing, temperature, and stress. Comfort is a need, not a habit.
