Elias was among our many pedia patients fitted with a 𝗞𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗸𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀.

He was diagnosed with 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗮 and has undergone a lot of medical procedures.

Despite this, Elias remained positive and a very bright kid.

Today, he was very happy to be standing on his legs and with only a walker assisting him.

This is a custom brace prescribed to patients needing full support of the whole lower extremity.

Special ADJUSTABLE JOINTS are used to enable locking and free motion at the hip and knees.

𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐒

This is the most common type of scoliosis that appears between ages 10-18. Has no known cause and usually affects girls.

Below is a girl with an S-shaped scoliosis wearing a Boston Brace. The function of this brace is to correct and guide the spine into proper position until the bones reach maturity.

CERVICO-THORACIC ORTHOSIS
This brace is prescribed to limit movement and support the upper part of the spine.
Patient has anterior wedge fracture and spinal cord injury secondary to Pott's Disease.
