Kasalukuyang naglalabas ang Bulkang Taal ng mga usok o VOG na nakikita sa Lalawigan ng Batangas at mga kalapit na lugar nito. Samantala, ang SMOG sa Metro Manila ay marahil dulot ng natural na pangyayaring tinatawag na "Temperature Inversion" na nagdadala ng maulap na kalangitan.

Gayunpaman, mahigpit na ipinaaalala ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan (DOH) na huwag magpawalang bahala at ingatan ang ating Kalusugan.
