Statistically, 12% of people in the philippines are suffering from asthma, 98% of them remained untreated and are not receiving care that they need.

For over 5,000 students of IC-Institutions, 8 out of 10 students are experiencing symptoms of ashtma, such as:

• Dry Cough
• Wheezing
• Chest Pain
• Night cough (and/or when laughing)

The risk of asthma may be affected by combined genetic predisposition, environmental influences, and personal health circumstances. According to American Lung Association, There are several factors that affects our lungs, These risks are:

• Smoke Inhalation
• Dust
• Genetics
• Pet
• Infection

Due to the rise of infected children/adult, Department of Health (DOH) presented emergency preventions/plan that might help to carry yourself until the service have arrived. Here's what to do when having an asthma attack:

• Avoid triggers (Allergens, Smoke, Pollutants)
• Inhalers (Meter-dosed, Dry powder or Soft Mist)
• Open airways (Nose and Mouth)
• It is also important to go farther from the crowd, to inhale safely.

Ultimately, addressing this widespread problem requires more than just emergency plans. It demands a significant increase in awareness, accessibility to proper diagnosis, and consistent, long-term medical care for the thousands of Filipinos who are currently suffering in silence. It's time to breathe safely and free your lungs from harm.

: WALANG LOCKDOWN

Pinabulaanan ng Department of Health ang impormasyon na kumakalat tungkol sa mpox. Paglilinaw ng DOH, walang lockdown kahit saanman sa bansa. Hindi rin kailangan magkaroon ng lockdown dahil hindi airborne ang mpox, ayon sa ahensya.

Nagpaalala naman ang DOH na maging mapanuri sa mga impormasyong lumalabas na hindi galing sa kanilang mga opisyal na account.

Patuloy ding mag-ingat sa anumang banta ng sakit.
