Abnormal na Vaginal Discharge
Magpatingin sa doktor kung may:

✅Mabahong amoy (parang isda o bulok)
✅Kulay: dilaw, berde, kulay-abo, o may dugo (hindi regla)
✅Consistency: makapal na parang keso o mabula
Sintomas: pangangati, hapdi, pananakit, o burning sensation

❤️Kahalagahan ng Liquid Pap Smear
Maagang pagtuklas ng cervical cancer:
– Nakakatulong itong makita ang abnormal na selula bago pa maging cancer, kaya mas maagapan at mas madaling gamutin.
Mas malinaw at mas tumpak na resulta

– Sa liquid Pap smear, inilalagay ang sample sa likido kaya mas kaunti ang dumi o dugo na nakakahalo, kumpara sa conventional Pap smear.
Mas kaunting “unsatisfactory results”

– Mas bihirang maulit ang test dahil mas mataas ang kalidad ng sample.
Puwedeng gamitin para sa HPV testing

– Mula sa iisang sample, puwedeng sabayan ang HPV test, na pangunahing sanhi ng cervical cancer.
Mas komportable para sa pasyente

– Mabilis ang procedure at halos pareho lang ang pakiramdam sa ordinaryong Pap smear.
