The Monitoring Team from the Provincial Health Office of Agusan del Sur (PHO-AdS) visits Valentina Galido Plaza Memorial Hospital (VGPMH) to conduct a comprehensive Health Program Monitoring and Evaluation activity. This initiative serves as part of the province-wide preparation for the upcoming Program Implementation Review (PIR) 2025 scheduled this August.

The evaluation focused on assessing the implementation status, accomplishments, and compliance of VGPMH with provincial and national health program standards. This visit underscores the commitment of both PHO-AdS and VGPMH to ensuring quality health service delivery and continuous improvement in line with the Universal Health Care (UHC) goals.

As part of its Community Social Responsibility (CSR) and commitment to health promotion, Valentina Galido Plaza Memorial Hospital (VGPMH) actively participated in the PhilSaga Mining Corporationโ€™s Family Welfare Program during the celebration of Nutrition Month 2025.

The two-day event focused on promoting proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and overall well-being among employees and their families. To strengthen this advocacy, VGPMH provided technical support by deploying its Nutritionist-Dietician, Ms. Amparo C. Prochina, RND, as the official resource speaker and health consultant throughout the program.

Through this partnership, VGPMH underscored its ongoing commitment to community health and wellness by empowering stakeholders with practical nutrition knowledge, meal planning strategies, and healthy eating practices. This collaboration reflects VGPMHโ€™s dedication to building health-conscious communities in support of its partner organizations.
