Bilay Main Health Center Joins the Synchronized Clean-Up Drive 😇🙌

In support of the City Government of Butuan's vision and in preparation for the 75th Adlaw Hong Butuan Celebration, the Bilay Main Health Center humbly participated in the Synchronized Clean-Up Drive last July 26, 2025.

Together with the other health centers and the City Health Office, we took a collective step towards preserving the environment and promoting the well-being of our community. Our efforts today are not just a contribution to a cleaner city but a commitment to a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Butuan for future generations.

Empowering Health Systems, One Data Point at a Time 💻📊

Today, we had the privilege of hosting the DOH team for the eLMIS (electronic Logistics Management Information System) Monitoring at Bilay Main Health Center.

This monitoring visit emphasizes our collective effort to enhance the efficiency of our health supply chain management, ensuring that medicines, vaccines, and other health commodities are properly tracked and delivered to where they are needed most.

With the support of our dedicated health workers, we reviewed the implementation of the eLMIS system, identified areas for improvement, and worked together to ensure that data accuracy and transparency remain at the core of our health services.

💪 Each step we take in strengthening our systems brings us closer to a more resilient and responsive health system for Caraga.

Bilay KONEKK x Red Cross in Brgy. Maibu: Expanding Access, Empowering Communities! ❤️‍🩹

On June 14, 2025, Brgy. Maibu proudly hosted the Bilay KONEKK (Kuyog One Kahimsog sa Katawhan) initiative in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Health Caravan, featuring dedicated volunteers from the Philippine Red Cross Agusan del Norte-Butuan City Chapter—bringing health, hope, and humanitarian care closer to home.

With the combined efforts of Brgy. Maibu Officials, Barangay Health Workers, DOH-HRH and LGU teams, and the compassionate Red Cross volunteers, the event successfully delivered essential health services and empowered community members through education and volunteerism:

Bilay KONEKK in Brgy. Tagabaca: Bringing Quality Care Closer to Home!

On June 11, 2025, Brgy. Tagabaca proudly hosted the Bilay KONEKK (Kuyog One Kahimsog sa Katawhan) continuing our shared goal of making essential healthcare more accessible to every Filipino!

Thanks to the strong collaboration between Brgy. Tagabaca Officials, our passionate Barangay Health Workers, committed volunteers, and health experts from DOH-HRH and the LGU, a total of 112 individuals received vital health services, including:

✅ 32 Dental Tooth Extractions
✅ 30 Healthy Young Ones (HYO) Pediatric Check-ups
✅ 6 VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) Screenings for Cervical Cancer Prevention

Today, we welcomed the DOH-Caraga team for the iDOTS (Integrated Directly Observed Treatment, Short-course) Monitoring at Bilay Main Health Center.

This monitoring visit highlights our shared commitment to strengthening tuberculosis (TB) control efforts and ensuring that our iDOTS program remains responsive, patient-centered, and aligned with national health standards.

Together with our dedicated health workers, we walked through the implementation process, addressed challenges, and identified ways to improve the quality of care for our TB patients.
