Please be informed of the following schedule for next week:

📌April 14–15, 2025 (Monday & Tuesday):
• There will be advance classes to cover sessions ahead of the Holy Week break.
• Your teachers will assign you to a specific time for your class sessions.

📌 April 16–19, 2025 (Wednesday to Saturday):
• There will be no classes in observance of Holy Week.

Classes will resume on Monday, April 21, 2025.

As we observe the solemnity of Holy Week, let us take this time to pause, reflect, and grow in our faith. Stay safe and have a meaningful Holy Week🙏

To our Dear Parents, please take note.

Some centers may advertise that they target OT, speech, and SpEd goals in one session, but this should alarm you, not attract you. 🙈

There is no such thing as 3-in-1 therapy sessions because unlike coffee ☕️ , children’s neurodivergent minds are complex that it’s impossible to target all of these aspects by just one person.

Don’t let other people take advantage of the fact that there are limited professionals in your area. Remember:
1. Therapists and teachers should be graduates of 4- to 5- year courses and therapists should be PRC licensed. Ask your service providers if they have these.
2. An OT is different from a speech pathologist, which is also different from a SpEd tutor. They target different areas to improve the quality of life of your kids.
3. There is really a long wait list, so once you get a slot, make sure that you take that opportunity and make the most of it.
4. Don’t be afraid to ask your therapist questions about your child. If you have legitimate therapists, you should feel empowered to ask them questions, and feel confident that they will answer you accordingly. ♥️

This may be a controversial take, but you are not a bad parent if you still feel in denial about your child’s diagnosis.

We’ve said this before and we’ll say it again, every family goes through its own journey at its own pace. If you are still in the denial stage, we get that. ♥️ and we believe that parents who are in this stage, shouldn’t be judged, but should be understood.

While your child was still in the mom’s womb, you already created dreams and ambitions for them. We can’t imagine what you were thinking after you received your child’s diagnosis. ♥️ maybe you felt that your dreams for them started to fade slowly, or maybe you went through a roller coaster of emotions before finally taking necessary actions. You were in denial, not because you don’t love your child or can’t accept them. You were in denial because you couldn’t believe that this is happening to your beloved child, and you started to ask yourself where you went wrong. Despite that, here you are: taking things one day at a time, bringing your child to therapy sessions.

We understand you. Trust us when we tell you that we will journey with you until you get into the acceptance stage. We are not just here for your child. We are here for you, parents, too. ♥️

🎄Christmas is just around the corner, which means kids will be opening presents soon! Did you know opening presents is another way to promote speech and language skills?!

♥️SAVE this post so you can see how to target these skills.

Rather than just opening presents quietly, teach your child:

◾️VERBS
◾️PREPOSITIONS
◾️REQUESTING
◾️FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS
◾️EXCLAMATORY WORDS

Remember to MODEL these words vs. asking questions constantly.

For example, instead of asking, “Do you want to open it?”, you can model, “open present” etc. The sentence length will vary depending on where your child is at. So if your child is currently producing single words, you would use “open”, but if your child is starting to put 2-words together you can model, “open gift”.
