Grateful for a day filled with laughter, connection, and memories outside our usual center's blue walls. A day that reminded us why we do what we do, and more importantly, who we do it with. This team building was more than just a break from work. We had the chance to breathe, reconnect, bond, to slow down and enjoy & appreciate each other’s company without the beeping machines and endless charts.

Thank you to our doctors and patients who graciously adjusted and allowed us to start early. Your kindness and understanding mean the world to us.

To our head nurse, Ma’am Lean, thank you for going above and beyond to make this day happen. From every plan to every small detail, your effort and dedication did not go unnoticed.

And of course, our deepest gratitude to our medical director, Dra. Maricris Caparas for the all-out support and trust you continue to give our team. None of this would have been possible without you. We return to work not just rested but recharged, with fuller hearts and stronger bonds that will carry us through every shift ahead. 💙

On this Labor Day, shoutout to the nurses making miracles happen between beeping machines, malfunctioning chairs, and patients who ‘forgot to tell you’ they ate a whole watermelon. You show up, scrub in, and smile anyway. May your machines run smooth, your accesses behave, and your breaks be longer than 30 seconds. You are appreciated, even if your holiday comes with heparin! 😂❤️

But-an Kidney Care Center proudly announces the successful completion of its inaugural hemoperfusion procedure!

Hemoperfusion is a medical treatment that removes toxins and waste products from the blood. It's similar to dialysis, but instead of filtering waste, hemoperfusion uses a cartridge or column containing adsorptive materials (e.g., activated carbon, resin) to capture and remove toxins.
