Remember the day you first discovered essential oils? For me, it felt like finding a missing puzzle piece in my life. Today, I want to share with you about a time before I found this piece, a time filled with sadness and heartbreak. I won't bore you with the details but I do know that I wish I had known then about a special oil - Ylang Ylang. We mentioned during HCD that it is an oil that comes up a lot in the chakra and rainbow oil protocols. It is one of my absolute favorite oils, not only does it smell divine, it's also a very powerful remedy for the heart.
Ylang Ylang is derived from a tropical flower. This oil is a faithful friend, helping us let go of hidden, painful feelings.
Carrying around these emotional burdens is like lugging a heavy suitcase. But Ylang Ylang acts like a key, unlocking this suitcase and freeing us from the weight. It helps bring us back into balance.
Once we've let go of this emotional baggage, we start noticing life's simple joys again. These little things become the big things.
If you're going through a tough time, remember, you're not alone. Ylang Ylang is there to comfort you and help you heal.
Here's how you can use Ylang Ylang:
Diffuse it: Put a few drops in your diffuser and let its aroma fill your space.
Apply it: Mix it with a carrier oil and rub it on your skin. I like putting it over my heart.
Bathe in it: Add a few drops to a warm bath for a relaxing soak.
If this is your first time using essential oils always remember to mix Ylang Ylang with a carrier oil, like Young Living's V-6, before applying it to your skin.
