The launching of “PuroKalusugan” is the newest primary care services of the Department of Health. The kick off was held in Brgy. Nongnong today November 8, 2024. It was indeed a significant event that brought together key health officials and stakeholders to provide comprehensive health services to the community. The program aimed to offer a range of essential health services to the Purok. This launching is first in the City of Butuan, specifically at one of the Geographically Isolated Demographic Area of Libertad District, Barangay Nongnong. It was spear headed by DOH Regional Director Dr. Cesar C. Cassion, City Councilor on Health Dr. Eduardo Gonzales, Medical Officer IV & LHSD-HSST Coordinator Dr. Agnes L. Cullantes, City Health Department Head Dr. Hendry Plaza, Assistant City Health Officer Dr. Teresita Helen V. Makiling, Dr. Deandra Pahate of Ampayon District, Dr. Roshe Opiano of Bilay District, DMO IV for Butuan City Ms. Emmi Marie Cabahug, RN,MMPSM, DMO II Mr. Adrian Kin P***n, RN and supported by LGUs, DOH HRH of different districts, and Brgy Council of Brgy Nongnong led by Punong Barangay Hon. Wilfredo Membrillos.

The services included are Immunization for children and adults, Prenatal care for expectant mothers, Medical consultations for various health concerns, Visual Inspection using Acetic Acid among women of reproductive age, Dental check-up and tooth extraction, Tuberculosis prevention and control thru sputum collection and chest x-ray, HIV & Glucose testing, Non-communicable disease prevention and control, Environmental Health Sanitation Program and Nutrition Education to promote healthy eating habits. The collaboration of these health professionals and organizations ensured that the residents of Brgy. Nongnong received the necessary care and support to improve their overall health and well-being.

This Kick-Off Activity of PuroKalusugan in Brgy. Nongnong demonstrated the commitment of the government and healthcare providers to prioritize the health needs of the community and work together to address them effectively. It set a positive example for other barangays to follow and highlighted the importance of collaboration and cooperation in delivering quality healthcare services to all and in achieving the goal of this activity "Bawat Pilipino ramdam ang kalusugan, Dahil sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga."

Bakuna Eskwela, the School-Based Immunization (SBI) Kick-Off Activity held at Agusan National High School last October 07, 2024 aims to provide protection to our students against vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD).
These vaccines are Measles-Rubella and Tetanus Diphtheria Vaccine for grades 1 and 7 and Human Papilloma Vaccine (HPV) for grade 4 female students.
SBI runs for two months (October to November 2024.)
Inviting everyone, especially the parents and guardians to support this activity to achieve the goal of Dep.Ed and DOH on the optimum health of our dear students.

√alang sa mga dependent: MDR or Members Data Record na updated or photocopy sa supporting na document as dependent (marriage certificate or birth certificate - picture or photocopy) para maprocess ang inyong dependent PIN.

Alang kini sa tanang Barangay nga sakop sa Libertad District. Para sa mga dugang pangutana mamahimo lang nga mo bisita sa LMHC para kini matubag.

Misaka ang ihap sa kaso sa dengue sa dakbayan sa Butuan ning tuiga kumpara miaging tuig.

Kini sumala na sa datos sa City Health Department. Miabot sa 1086 ang kinatibuk-ang ihap sa kaso sa dengue sa syudad gikan Enero hangtud Agosto ning tuiga kumpara sa 391 nga kaso sa susamang mga bulan milabayng tuig.

Nakita nga kasagaran sa mga nagkasakit sa dengue ang mga lalake nga anaa sa 562 ug anaa sab sa 524 ang kaso sa mga kababayen-an. Sa miaging duha ka kwarter nakatala na og tulo ka namatay tungod sa dengue.

Sa rekord sa City Health, dunay taas nga ihap sa kaso sa dengue ang Barangay Libertad nga nakatala na og 107 ka kaso; gisundan sa Barangay Doongan nga dunay 77 ka cases; Barangay Baan Km. 3 nga dunay 72 ka kaso; Barangay Villakananga nga naa sa 61 cases; Barangay San Vicente nga dunay 44; ug Barangay Ampayon nga dunay 36 ka kaso.

"So, ang atong high incidence sa dengue mao ang barangay Libertad. Nag advocacy nami didto, search and destroy, kung naa mi makita nga mga botelya ug mga bagul, ipang daub gyud na siya para dili posible maka puyo ang mga kiti-kiti. In that way dili na mudaghan ang lamok." Pines Torralba, CHD Dengue Coordinator.

Ang Dengue usa ka viral infection nga mukanat gikan sa mga lamok padulong sa mga tawo. Kini masinati sa mga tropical ug subtropical climates.

"Maka apekto ang weather, during rainy season, mag salud ang mga tawo og tubig, posible gyud to nga kadtong gisalud nga tubig posible mapuy-an og mga lamok. Advice lang namo sa mga tawo nga mag salud og tubig nga i-cover gyud ang ilang container nga gisaludan" Pines Torralba, CHD Dengue Coordinator.

Giawhag ang tanan katawhan sa pagsunod sa 5S Strategy: Search and destroy mosquito breeding places, Secure self-protection, seek early consultation, Support fogging and spraying, ug ang Sustain hydration.

Gi-awhag ang publiko nga makigtambayayong sa mga panawagan sa barangay kalabot na niining Dengue ug siguradohon nga hinlo ang palibot sa inyong lugar aron hugtanong malikayan ang kaso sa dengue.

Libertad Main Health Center mourns the passing of our beloved dentist, colleague and friend,
𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐨-𝐈𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐚.

Her service to the community throughout the years brought radiant smiles to the thousands of clients whom she has rendered her expertise.

We will forever miss her enthusiasm, dedication to serve and positive energy that lights up the room. We did not only lose a dentist but someone who has become a family whom we cherish and look up to.

Our hearts are with the Linao-Idulsa family in this time of sorrow and we are asking for sympathy and prayers as well.

Gipahigayon ang PhilHealth Konsulta Caravan sa Libertad Health District kagahapon, June 21, 2024, diin nakaparehistro para sa Konsulta package ang mga nitungha ug 148 ka indibidwal ang natagaan ug libreng essential health services. Ang mga health services nga naa lakip ang BMI, medical, laboratory, dental ug uban pang serbisyong pangkalusugan nga gikinahanglan sa matag pasyente pinaagi sa mga personahe sa City Health Department ug DOH Human Resource for Health. Aduna sab lecture nga gipahigayon ang PhilHealth Caraga para mas mapasabot ang katawhan sa mga benepisyo nga pwede nila i-avail.

Mapasalamaton ang barangay Libertad nga gipanguluhan ni Punong Barangay, Hon. Vincent Rizal Rosario nga gipahigayon ang maong caravan sa ilang barangay. Gi awhag sab ni Dr. Hendry D. Plaza, City Health Officer, ang katawhan nga i-avail ang mga serbisyong pangkalusugan nga gi tanyag sa City Health Department sa atong syudad.

Midonar og dugo ang gatusan ka mga indibidwal atol sa natigayong Mass Blood Donation Drive sa World Blood Donor Day, sa may Robinson’s Place Butuan, adlawng Biyernes.

Ang kalihokan subay sa temang “20 Years of Celebrating Giving: Thank You Blood Donors!” nga nagtan-aw sa dakung papel sa mga blood donors nga mitabang sa mga nanginahanglan og dugo.
Daghan ang midonar og dugo sa gipahigayong kalihukan sama sa Philippine National Police, personahe sa mga ahensya, ug mga kliyente sa Robinson’s Place Butuan.

Gitagana ang kada Hunyo katorse matag tuig isaulog ang World Blood Donor Day. Kini base sa gipagawas sa World Health Organization kon WHO og ika Fifty-Eight World Health Assembly Resolution o ang “Blood Safety: Proposal to Establish World Blood Donor Day”, tuig 2005.

Ang kalihukan nahimong posible tungod sa lokal nga panggamhanan pinaagi sa City Health Health Department kauban ang Philippine Red Cross Butuan-Agusan del Norte Chapter ug Department of Health - Caraga.
