Hon. Arnold L. Tapere, being the author of an Ordinance "Declaring August 1 as Araw ng Nasipit" In the year 1999, has left an indelible mark on the legislative body and to all Nasipitnon with honor and dignity, as from that moment the whole municipality significantly celebrated and commemorate the founding anniversary up to the present.
