DOH Caraga Water Testing Laboratory Achieves Excellent Performance in CY 2025 Proficiency Testing 💧🔬

The DOH Caraga Water Testing Laboratory, under the Department of Health – Center for Health Development Caraga (DOH Caraga), successfully participated, passed, and achieved "EXCELLENT" performance in the CY 2025 Proficiency Testing Scheme for Water Microbiological Testing Laboratories conducted by the National Reference Laboratory of East Avenue Medical Center (NRL-EAMC)

This accomplishment affirms the laboratory’s compliance with national quality standards and reflects DOH Caraga’s continued commitment to ensuring accurate, reliable, and quality-assured water microbiological testing services in support of public health protection and disease prevention.

At DOH Caraga Water Testing Laboratory, we don’t just ensure clean and safe water—we also prioritize disaster preparedness! Our team recently participated in an Earthquake Drill Orientation conducted by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department - Disaster Preparedness Division, City of Butuan CDRRMD-Butuan last March 5, 2025. This training equips us with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergencies, ensuring the safety of our workplace and community.

On February 18, 2025, the DOH Caraga Water Testing Laboratory successfully conducted a Fire Safety and Prevention Seminar & Fire Drill in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection Caraga - Butuan City Fire Station. 🚒🧯

This activity equipped our team with essential fire prevention strategies, emergency response protocols, and hands-on fire drill exercises to ensure workplace safety. Preparedness saves lives, and we are committed to maintaining a safe working environment for everyone.
