Ang patient ko na 2 days naglabor na sumakses magnormal delivery! 🥳

Natutuwa ako kasi usually nagpapakain sila samin sa labor room after nila manganak. Pero sya, pinapabigyan nya isa-isa yung mga nurses na naghandle sa kanya ng gift certificates pang kape daw nila. Natandaan nya ang mga pangalan nila so ibig sabihin, very good ang mga nurses natin. Kaya ako personally, naaappreciate ko talaga ang mga ganitong gestures kasi this is also an affirmation of the quality of our patient care. Kaya good job kay patient and sa ating mga LR nurses! 🥳

P.S. Sorry daw kung may nakalimutan sya. Basta very good daw lahat ng nurses namin sa LR. Hehe

ME: HA?!?!
GEN Z 2: Hindi! Sila John Lloyd Cruz! (Referring to Kanto boys)

WHEN THE DOCTOR BECOMES THE PATIENT. Waiting for our checkup (INIP FACE).

Waited 4.5 hrs to be seen. Definitely mas maiksi ang checkup sa waiting time BUT we were very satisfied with our doctor. Magaling and very patient mag explain. So what’s the point, Dra? Haha!

1. I am very strict with the order of my patients waiting. Very rare ako magpasingit unless super high risk and inpatient syempre inuuna ko (makes sense naman kasi admitted nga so may problem ibig sabihin). Same with I never use my VIP/MD card when it’s our time to be the patients. Nung sinabi saming first come, first serve, 2 hours before pa lang nasa hospital na kami. Naglaan talaga ako ng isang buong araw for this. WHY? Because same with all my patients, YOUR TIME IS AS GOOD AS EVERYONE ELSE.

2. Na-appreciate ko ung doctor namin how she explained our game plan and how she really made an effort to connect with us. Ganito pala siguro yung nararamdaman ng mga patients ko na gusto ako weekly makita haha. It’s very uplifting and comforting.

3. Late ang doctor ng 2 hours. But as a doctor, naintindihan ko bakit sya late. That means there are more serious battles outside the clinic that we need to attend to. Sino ba ang gusto late magstart and matapos di ba?

HAPPY NA AKO AFTER THIS 😊

Nakita ko ung kambal na pinaanak ko last May 1 sa isang party. Nagpapicture kami at hinanap sakin ung picture nila sa OR. Buti nahanap pa sa phone haha 😂

Sa mga naghahanap ng kanila na super tagal na, huntingin nyo na lang ako whenever and wherever. Haha joke lang ✌🏻

Belated happy birthday sa aking oldest and favorite patient ever! 86th birthday nya last Sunday. Sabi ko ipopost ko sya sa page ko (pero na-late ng ilang araw hehe). Naoperahan ko si lola dahil may bukol sya sa o***y na bumabara sa kanyang ihian. Ayaw na namin sana sya operahan dahil sa edad nya pero hindi na nya kayang umihi and paulit-ulit lang din sya magkaka-infection dahil sa pagkakasonda. At syempre, we want to improve the quality of her life. Thank God at benign (hindi kanser) naman ang kanyang bukol. Nakakaihi na din sya ng walang sonda. ☺️

Idol daw nya ako. Pero sya talaga ang idol ko. Napakaliksi at napakatalas pa ng utak at pandinig. Itong picture na ito was taken just 1 week after her operation pero nakakasampa na sa bed on her own. Sabi ko anong sikreto nya? Iwasan ko daw ang mga karne at matatamis (patay tayo dyan).

Ang bilis ng panahon. Nakaround 3 na din kami? Sabay2x sila nagpacheckup sa Pedia kaya nagpapicture na din kami. Grabe ang hirap magpapicture sa mga malilikot na toddlers. Haha riot! 😅😂

Pero mapapaisip ka din talaga kung mukha na ba akong haggard talaga e noh? Hahahaha!

Nagflash sa newsfeed ko.

Ito pala ung patient ko na gustong magpacheckup every week sakin at every checkup umiiyak. Madalas pinapatahan ko lang sya at binibigyan ng comforting words sa dalas namin magkita. Nakakatuwa that after 2 pregnancy losses (1 miscarriage and 1 full term early neonatal death), nakita ko sa feed ko yung picture nya na nakangiti na with her healthy baby boy. Happy na aura nya. ☺️🥰
