Today, I want to honor one of my patient’s mom.

Last June 2024, she began to message me about her premature baby born at another institution, stayed there for almost 2 months. The baby was advised to stay longer due to“infections” but the mom took her home instead because she felt she can do more.
True enough, she did well. The baby was brought to the clinic and she seemed fine as well. I trusted her ability to take care of her 1.4-kg baby, giving her advice and prescriptions of multivitamins and supplements.

Last month, the baby turned 1 year old. And she hasn’t been admitted since. She is a healthy baby.
