We are pleased to announce that our Chief Resident (Traditional Training Program) Dr. Eunice de Vera’s clinical paper, titled: “MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL-SITUS INVERSUS TOTALIS AND ALPHA THALLASEMIA IN A 51-YEAR-OLD FEMALE: A CASE REPORT,” was accepted for poster presentation at the 30th WONCA Europe Conference, which will take place in Paris, France, from June 30 to July 3, 2026.

The Family and Community Medicine Department is pleased to announce that the four year practice - based residency training of Practice Based Training Chief Resident Dr. Jose Paolo Prado (Medical Officer III School Health and Nutrition - Medical Unit, DepEd SDO - Nueva Ecija), Dr. Hezer Necesito (MHO Rural Health Unit of Maria Aurora, Aurora Province), Dr. Maricell Tantingco (Medical Officer IV Guimba Community Hospital) officially ended this February.

We applaud their dedication and determination to complete the family medicine residency training, despite their immense workload in their areas of responsibility.
