Mental Health in Focus: GoodSam Medical Center Holds Wellness Seminar for Employees

GoodSam Medical Center reaffirmed its commitment to employee well-being through a Mental Health Awareness and Management Seminar led by its own OPD Psychiatric Consultant Dr. Bernard B. Argamosa, a Mental Health and Psychosocial support provider.

The engaging and insightful session provided a safe space for employees to reflect, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into how they can better support themselves and their colleagues.

For 47 years, GoodSam has been a place of healing—but that healing must also extend to those who give so much of themselves every day.

GoodSam Med Hosts Salo-Salo for Employees, in Partnership with Unilab and GoodSam Doctors.

Following the vibrant motorcade that opened GoodSam Medical Center’s 47th Founding Anniversary celebration, GoodSam Med treated its employees to a delightful “Salo-Salo”, bringing everyone together for a morning of good food and camaraderie, celebrating unity, gratitude, and shared success. The Salo-Salo capped off the successful Day 1 activities of the month-long anniversary celebration.

Special thanks were extended to Unilab, the GoodSam MDs, and all those who helped organize the event and made it a success. Their efforts reflected the true spirit of teamwork and support that defines GoodSam.

47 Years of Service: GoodSam Launches Anniversary Festivities with a BLAST!

Hospital staff from various departments joined the parade alongside some of GoodSam’s doctors. Adding to the festive spirit were the official candidates for Mr. and Ms. GoodSam Ambassador 2025, representing their respective departments.

The motorcade marked the first major event of the celebration, setting the tone for the exciting lineup of activities to come.

Thanksgiving Mass Marks the Start of GoodSam Medical Center’s 47th Anniversary Celebration

With hearts full of gratitude, GoodSam Medical Center officially opened its 47th Founding Anniversary celebration through a solemn Thanksgiving Mass, bringing together doctors, employees, and leaders in a moment of prayer and gratitude, held at the Alessandra’s Banquet Hall last July 7, 2025.

The Mass served as a moment of reflection on the hospital’s journey and the people behind its continued success.

2025 DIABETES AWARENESS

GoodSam Medical Center and GoodSam Eye & Laser Center supports Diabetes Awareness efforts of Dr, George B. Tan with Blood Pressure Test and Eye Screening.

As part of its 47th Founding Anniversary celebration, GoodSam Medical Center participated in the Annual Diabetes Awareness Event led by Dr. George B. Tan, Ancillary Department Head. Themed “Diabetes No Way, Vegies Save Lives!”, the event was held on July 5, 2025 at the N.E Pacific Atrium.

During the event, GoodSam Medical Center offered free blood pressure monitoring to attendees, while the GoodSam Eye and Laser Center provided free eye checkups. These services aimed to support the event’s goal of raising awareness about the risks, complications, and early detection of diabetes and related conditions.

GoodSam Med remains committed to joining this annual advocacy, making it a regular part of the hospital’s anniversary month celebration.
The hospital’s participation in the Diabetes Awareness event is among several initiatives lined up this July, all in line with its 47-year legacy of compassionate, patient-centered healthcare.
