Another twin blessing — this time, baby boys naman! 💙💙

Delivered via CS by choice, kahit parehong cephalic ang presentation. At 37 weeks by pediatric scoring, these diamniotic-monochorionic twins — 2 amniotic sacs, 1 placenta — came out safe and well.

Twin A weighed 2.4 kg with ruptured membrane, while Twin B weighed 2.1 kg with intact membrane. Ang galing lang kasi both babies are rooming-in with Mommy. 🥰

Being fit is still possible kahit nasa 40s na tayo.

Hindi ako perfect.
I’ve been there—obese, weight going up and down, struggling to stay healthy.

Alam ko kung gaano kahirap.

Pero ngayon, I realized…
possible pala.

Hindi kailangan biglaan.
Hindi kailangan perfect.

Kailangan lang—consistent.

If I can do it, you can too 💕

Have a blessed Sunday. While I advocate for Gentlebirth, I also condone using it as a reason to paint hospital assessment process as against it.

The doctors and hospital staff are not enemies.

They are part of a system that promotes safety.

While most hospital policies are not in line with the practices of Gentlebirth, we appreciate hospitals that give space for this. (We admit, we have a loooong way to go).

With this, I would like to thank patients again who are likewise respectful to hospital staff, who turn down hospital processes with grace while still being steadfast with Gentlebirth practice and training.

Imagine living with severe dysmenorrhea from adenomyosis and endometriosis for 8 long years…
With an endometrioma that just wouldn’t cooperate.

Pain that doesn’t listen to meds.
Pain that doesn’t improve with progesterone.
Even GnRH agonists couldn’t fully take it away.

Yung sakit na hindi lang “monthly.”
Kundi araw-araw mong dala. 😞

Buti na lang… she was blessed with 3 beautiful children before everything changed. 🤍

At 37, she made one of the hardest decisions a woman can make—
to have everything removed.

Not because she wanted to…
but because she was tired of living in pain.

And honestly?
After everything she went through… you understand why.

Because this kind of pain…
is not just physical.

Baka pwede natin ito gawin sa mga delivery rooms. Para di na mahirapan maglampaso ang mga kuya sa nagkalat na dugo at amnotic fluid. 😅

Bumili ako ng bagong sasakyan! Vios! Pero inuna ko muna yung matting sa likod, tsaka na yung kotse 😂

Urologists can relate. Perfect tong vios matting sa mga cystoscopic cases! Di na mababasa yung sahig. HINDI NA MADULAS! Salo lahat dito kung may tapon man. Safe yung mga wires and electronics.

To my dear patients,

As you all know, there are HMOs that significantly underpay consultation fees—some even going as low as this amount.

Since I started my private practice 9 years ago, I have never asked for any additional fees from my HMO patients during clinic consultations. However, with rising inflation and the continuous increase in clinic supply costs, I hope you understand that it is only reasonable for me to request the remaining balance for my consultation fee.

This adjustment allows me to continue providing quality care and maintain the standards that my patients deserve.

For patients whose HMOs are not amenable to this arrangement, I completely understand. There are other OB-GYNs who do not charge extra for HMO consultations, and I would be happy to endorse you to them.

Wala pa si Aling Maliit noong 2022.
Pandemic pa nun—inaabot pa ako ng 10pm sa trabaho.

Ang buhay noon:
gising – kain – ligo – paanak at rounds – clinic – tulog. Paulit-ulit lang.

Ngayon, iba na.
Hindi na pwedeng abutin ng gabi… dahil kay Mira. 🤍
Kasama na siya sa bawat plano.

Medyo unpredictable na ang schedule, pero as much as possible, hindi na umaabot ng 10pm.

Kasi ngayon, hindi na lang ako doktor.
Nanay na rin. ✨
