Today, we celebrate the Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint — a man whose ordinary life became extraordinary through faith, courage, and sacrifice.
He refused to renounce his faith even under the threat of death. His final words still echo through history: “I am a Catholic and wholeheartedly do accept death for God. If I had a thousand lives, all these I would offer to Him.”
San Lorenzo’s life is a testament to the strength of conviction, the power of faith, and the courage to stand firm in the truth, even when everything is at stake.
Rooted in the personal devotion of our founder, the late Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, our mission is to honor the legacy he championed by advocating for San Lorenzo Ruiz—so that the saint may be widely recognized, fondly remembered, and continue to inspire many to stand firm in their faith.
In quiet tribute, we have established plazas and columbariums inside Eternal Gardens parks bearing his statues across several of our parks.
May the life of San Lorenzo Ruiz inspire us to live with bold faith, quiet strength, and a heart fully devoted to what is good and true.
