2024 marks the 10th year anniversary of Laser & Vision Center and our celebration of a decade of delivering exceptional eye care to thousands of patients.

The birth of our center was initiated by Dr. Reynaldo Yang, who foresaw the need to provide quality and accessible ophthalmic healthcare to the community. Since our opening, Laser & Vision Center has grown exponentially and expanded its range of services and staff of medical professionals to better serve the demand for excellent eye care.

As we enter our next decade of operations, we remain steadfast in our commitment to excellence and look forward to serving even more patients at Laser & Vision Center.

AVOID TOY-RELATED EYE INJURIES

Avoid toys with sharp, protruding or projectile parts such as airsoft guns, BB guns and foam-dart-shooting guns. Never allow children to play with high-powered laser pointers. Check labels for age recommendations before you buy. Supervise children when they are playing with potentially hazardous toys or games that could cause an eye injury. If someone you know suffers an eye injury, seek immediate medical attention from an ophthalmologist.

Consult your ophthalmologist for more eye safety tips.

TREATING CHILDREN’S EYE INJURY

If your child suffers an eye injury – even a seemingly minor one – seek immediate medical attention from an ophthalmologist, primary care doctor, or school physician or nurse. While seeking medical help, DO NOT touch, rub or apply pressure to the eye. DO NOT try to remove any object stuck in the eye. Do not apply ointment or medication to the eye. For chemical exposure, flush eye with plenty of water.
