The Association of Student-Kumadronas has officially been granted re-accreditation, reaffirming its commitment to advancing the welfare, leadership, and academic growth of midwifery students.

Awarding of certificates took place during the flag-raising ceremony at the Administrative Building. Representing the organization, Ms. Gracielle Anne Mae A. Rodrigo (Auditor), Ms. Kristine Joy L. Opena (Secretary), Ms. Lhesly Gabuyo (Bus. Mngr) proudly received the certificate of re-accreditation. They were joined by Mr. Edgar Asuncion Ulep, ASK Adviser, and Ms. Eden N. Ragual, Program Chair of BSM, whose guidance and support have been vital to the organization's success.

With this recognition, the ASK looks forward to another fruitful academic year filled with opportunities for leadership, service, and growth.

๐‚๐š๐›๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ, ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐จโ€”The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Department is diligently preparing for the upcoming ๐€๐’๐„๐€๐ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง with a focus on its eye-catching booth.

On Tuesday, ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ 26, 2025, students and faculty collaborated to prepare and decorate their designated space. The team worked efficiently, with photos from the day showing the group's collective effort to ensure the booth was finalized to a high standard.

The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery successfully conducted its student orientation and academic excellence awarding for the 2nd semester of AY 2024-2025.

The event was held to welcome students into new semester, reinforce institutional policies, and recognize outstanding academic achievers.

The program was warmly hosted by Ms. April Jane A. Fernandez, GEC faculty setting the tone for an informative gathering. The opening remarks and formal presentation of the faculty members were delivered by the Midwifery Program Chairperson, Ms. Eden N. Ragual, who encouraged students to uphold the values of professionalism and compassion in their journey toward becoming competent midwives.

The orientation proper featured a series of informative sessions designed to guide students through the academic and clinical expectations of the semester. Mr. Jumar F. Villegas led the discussion on the general admission policies, ensuring that students are well-informed about enrollment, retention, and progression standards. Ms. Jonayda P. Marzo thoroughly explained the clinical practicum guidelines, highlighting the importance of hands-on learning and patient care.

Meanwhile, Ms. Krizzia Alona Eloi M. Ramos presented the policies relating to standards of conduct, reminding students of their responsibilities as future healthcare professionals. The orientation concluded with Mr. Edgar A. Ulep, Adviser of QSU CAB - Association of Student-Kumadronas and its vital role in leadership, service, and student engagement.

Following the orientation, the department proceeded with the awarding of certificates to students who demonstrated academic excellence during the previous semester.

This meaningful event not only equipped students with the knowledge they need for the new semester but also celebrated their achievements.
