More than 35 years ago, there was a young girl who used to help her lola earn a living.
Her grandmother worked as a laundrywoman for a kindhearted lady who had a baby girl named Princess. Every day after school, the little girl would carry bags of soiled lampin and clothes. Together with her lola, they washed them by hand, dried them under the sun, folded them neatly, and returned them with care.
Life was not easy for them.
But the lady they worked for was kind.
She would give the young girl small coins for her school baon. Sometimes, their family would also share groceries with the girl and her lola. Those simple acts of kindness meant so much to a child who was quietly dreaming of a better future.
The girl never forgot.
Years passed.
Her beloved lola is no longer here today.
But by Godβs grace, the little girl grew up and fulfilled her dream.
Recently, life allowed them to meet again.
This time, the little girl who once carried laundry bags is now a physician⦠and she is now caring for the same kind lady who once cared for her.
Some stories remind us that no act of kindness is ever wasted.
Kindness returns.
In its own time.
In its own beautiful way. π
