Our chosen beneficiaries for our “Friends of King Project: Relief Operation”were residents from Hda. Carmen, one of the places affected by the two episodes of flash flood that struck Cadiz City. The team was able to share goods (rice, bread, noodles, sardines, biscuits, milk), packed meals, and preloved clothes among 50 households/ 100 pax.

We have the following to thank for:

• Marie Concepcion Lamique (3,000php worth of goods)
• Mary Ann & Jose C. Echavez (2,000php worth of goods and preloved clothes)
• Rochel King (packed meals for 100 pax)
• Cling and Jingle De Guzman (packaged juice for 100 pax)
• Johanna Ongos (500php worth of goods)
• Cyra Mae Echavez (500php worth of goods)
• Geraldine B. Mesa (preloved clothes)
• Jezramae Bayotas (preloved clothes)
• Jean Grace Basalo (preloved clothes)

The team would also like to acknowledge the efforts of Mrs. Sandra Mae Ardeña (Head Teacher 1), Ms. Liberty Joy Sacayan (Teacher 1), and the rest of the staff of Daga Extension High School. Thank you so much for allowing us to use the school premises and for helping us facilitate the said activity.

To all of our donors/sponsors, each one of you is greatly appreciated. Thank you for going out of your way to help others.

It’s been a while since our last Friends of King Project and before we have our Annual Feeding and Gift Giving this December for the children we feel the need to extend a helping hand to the families affected by the recent flooding in some areas of Cadiz City.

The Friends of King Project is knocking on your kind hearts for donations.

We accept any of the following:
• USED DECENT CLOTHES
• GOODS (NOODLES, CANNED GOODS, POWDERED MILK/COFFEE/CHOCOLATE DRINK)
•BOTTLED WATER
•MEDICINES

You may drop off your donations tomorrow, December 24, 2024 from 8:30a.m-11:00a.m at PRINTXPRESS DIGITAL (beside Worthmart), Villena St, Cadiz City. Drop off schedules and location starting December 25, 2024 will be posted on this page.

We are away for the holidays and will be resuming our activities and programs in the third week of January 2024. We apologize for all the uncatered concerns and requests.

Today’s FOKProject: Medical Assistance for Marife Arquisola

Mrs. Marife Arquisola, a post stroke patient, reached out to us for assistance after incurring a minor accident at home. She is in pain and has difficulty moving her right hand.

Through your donations, we were able to shoulder her x-ray examination fees. The result showed dislocation of a bone in the right wrist. She will be going back to her physician for further instruction and management of her present condition.

Special thanks to Ms. Trisha Diaz of Promed Cadiz for assisting us and catering our requests.
