Last ๐–ฌ๐–บ๐—‹๐–ผ๐— 15, 2026, we had the opportunity to conduct a สœแด‡แด€สŸแด›สœ แด›แด‡แด€แด„สœษชษดษข session during ๐–ฒ๐—๐–บ๐—‹ ๐–ข๐–บ๐—†๐—‰ 2026 with the wonderful ๐–ฒ๐—๐–บ๐—‹ ๐–ข๐–บ๐—†๐—‰ 2026 participants at the ๐–ฆ๐–บ๐—๐–บ๐–ฝ ๐–ช๐–บ๐—…๐—‚๐—‡๐—€๐–บ ๐–ข๐–พ๐—‡๐—๐–พ๐—‹ โ€“ ๐–ช๐–บ๐—Ž๐—Œ๐—๐–บ๐—€๐–บ๐—‡.

Through this activity, we shared simple yet important ways to prevent Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH) by promoting key protective habitsโ€”wearing slippers, practicing proper handwashing, and supporting safe deworming.

By empowering young minds with knowledge and practical habits, we help protect childrenโ€™s health and build a stronger, healthier future for the community.

Together with schools, families, and barangay health centers, we are raising awareness and taking action to prevent Soil-Transmitted Helminth (STH) infections and build healthier communities.

STH are intestinal parasites spread through contaminated soil and poor hygiene. Though often unnoticed, they can affect a childโ€™s nutrition, growth, cognitive development, and school performance. Oh-LODS promotes prevention through education, behavior change, and coordinated community action.
