The Flag Raising Ceremony was successfully conducted on January 5, 2026, at the 3rd Floor of the Barangay Hall, Camaman-an. The activity marked the first official activity of the month, bringing together barangay officials, staff, BNS ,BHW TANOD ,LUPONG TAGAMAPAYAPA and community members in a spirit of unity and patriotism. The ceremony emphasized respect for the national flag and served as a meaningful start to the month’s programs and responsibilities. It also reinforced cooperation, discipline, and commitment to public service within the barangay.

📢𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧:
1. The contest is open to all Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) of Cagayan de Oro with only one (1) entry per District (𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱).

2. The group must consist of minimum of Eight (8) performers and a maximum of Twelve (𝟭2) performers from Barangay Nutrition Scholars on stage. Please note of space limitation. CNPC are excluded from the group.

3. The choice of music should be 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙬𝙞𝙛𝙩’𝙨 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙜 and depends on the contestants and should run for 3-5 minutes ONLY, including entrance and exit. Remix and mash-up are also allowed.

4. Choreography should be simple, wholesome, and lively. It must not contain any subliminal, sexually suggestive, or vulgar lyrics/language or suggestive acts.

5. All dancers should wear costumes that reflect Taylor Swift with a touch of Christmas or any related to the theme.

6. Use of props will be allowed as long as it will not cause any harm to the participants. Display of brands of foods/beverages/formula milk to be used in the video is discouraged.

7. Failure to follow the mechanics will result in a deduction of points.

8. Dance presentation will be on December 10, 2025 at 10:00am at VIP Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

9. Decision of the judges shall be final irrevocable.

Barangay Nutrition Committee (BNC) 3rd Quarter Meeting

Plans for upcoming nutrition-related activities, including feeding programs, nutrition education campaigns, and barangay health outreach, were discussed and scheduled.

Action points were assigned to various members for follow-up and implementation before the 4th quarter review.
