Adolescence is a critical period of rapid growth and development. During puberty, the body undergoes significant physical, cognitive, and hormonal changes wherein key nutrients are needed. Adequate nutrition during this time aids in preventing deficiencies and reduces risks of diet-related diseases later in life.

Successful Immunization Day and distribution of Vitamin A held at Macapaya Satellite Health Center for 0–59-month-old children, ensuring protection for our little ones 💉🧒👶

Simultaneously, MRTD and HPV vaccinations were administered to Grades 1 and 7 students at Macapaya Elementary School, with the support of our committed health personnel, BHWs, and BNS 🙌💚

BCPC Quarterly Meeting & Consultation - September 12, 2025 | Barangay Camaman-an

On September 12, 2025, the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) held a successful quarterly meeting and consultation at Barangay Camaman-an, led by Punong Barangay Carl "Kuya Bodie" D. Galarrita and Kagawad Maria Lorna Namoc, Chairperson of the Committee on Women, Children, and Family Relations. The event brought together representatives from Barangay-Based Institutions (BBIs), local organizations, schools, and the CSWD District 2B Head, showcasing a unified effort in safeguarding children's welfare.

The meeting emphasized the barangay's strong commitment to child protection, ensuring that programs and initiatives for children's well-being are properly monitored and effectively implemented. Through this collaborative effort, Barangay Camaman-an continues to create a safe and nurturing environment for its youth.

📌 Barangay Health Summit

📍 Camaman-an Elementary School

The Barangay Camaman-an Local Government Unit, through the Barangay Health Board, successfully conducted the Barangay Health Summit on September 13, 2025, at Camaman-an Elementary School.

The summit served as a venue to assess the barangay’s health programs, review accomplishments from the previous year, and plan strategies for improved health service delivery. Key discussions included solid waste management, BDRRMC preparedness, BADAC-CBRP, ecological health initiatives, and community health services.

📊 Reports Presented:

BNS Report – Nutrition: Updates on Operation Timbang Plus results, Vitamin A supplementation, supplementary feeding, and malnutrition prevalence.

Health Center Report: Services provided including immunization, prenatal and postnatal care, consultations, TB-DOTS, HIV awareness, anti-rabies, and medical caravan services.

Pamatong Report: IEC campaign on responsible pet ownership, prevention of animal bites, and rabies control.
