👁 𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬, often referred to as night lenses, Ortho-K, OK, overnight vision correction, or corneal refractive therapy, involves using specially designed rigid gas-permeable contact lenses that are worn overnight. These lenses temporarily reshape the cornea to correct refractive errors such as myopia (nearsightedness), astigmatism, and hyperopia (farsightedness).

While the lenses are 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽, they gently mold the surface of the eye. The effect lasts throughout the day after the lenses are removed, allowing the wearer to see clearly without glasses or daytime contacts.

Ortho-K is 𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, often recommended for active individuals or children who are either not suitable candidates for or too young to undergo LASIK. This method can also help slow myopia progression, particularly in children.
