Based on the latest Disease Surveillance Report of the DOH, there were 30 chikungunya cases reported from Jan. 1 to March 25, 2023, while only seven cases of the mosquito-borne disease were recorded in the same period in 2022. https://bit.ly/40xmniq

Given the rising cases of Chikungunya, we interviewed few people to know the extent of their knowledge on the said disease.

Unfortunately, it showed that most people have no idea what chikungunya is. Given such concern, the group disseminated brochures that display a brief overview on all there is to know in relation to its onset, transmission, and prevention.
