Protect yourself and others from hepatitis. Lalo na sa mga co-dialysis patients natin na may fistula sa kamay make sure po na protected ang inyong mga kamay kung lilinisan niyo ito or tatanggalin ang plaster after dialysis. At make sure din na before kayo mag uumpisa ng dialysis session niyo e double check ninyo ang inyong mga needle sa lines kung hindi ito contaminated. Kasi mas prone tayo sa hepatitis kasi lagi tayong tinutusukan.

Let’s all be mindful lalo na pag dating sa katawan at health natin. 😊

Protect yourself and others from hepatitis by:

1⃣ using sterile injections
2⃣ practising safer s*x
3⃣ using your own razors/blades
4⃣ using safe tattooing/piercing tools
5⃣ vaccinating children against hepatitis B
6⃣ getting tested/knowing your status

Mga higala and mga co-dialysis patients, double amping gyud ta karon labi nga nga grabe na gyud ka init ang panahon. Labi na kita nga mga patiente nga naa nata’y mga underlying conditions. Dapat dili ta ma trigger kay delikado kaayo para nato nga ma experience ang grabe nga ka init kay limitado lang atong water intake og dali ra mabikil atong blood pressure sa init. Busa kung wala’y mga importanteng lakaw, mas maayo og mag puyo nalang ta sa atong mga balay kaysa mag lakaw lakaw sa gawas og mabati nato ang sobra ka init.

Amping permi aron malikayan nato ang heat stroke 💚

Here’s how you can prevent having high blood pressure 👇🏼
As dialysis patients, number 1 is very important to really reduce salt or sodium intake. 😊

This is how you can prevent high blood pressure:
❗️Reduce 🧂 to less than 5g/day
❗️Avoid saturated fats & trans fats 🍔
❗️Avoid 🚬
❗️Reduce 🍷
❕Eat 🍎 and 🥦 regularly
❕Be active 🧘‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Bakit sobrang important ng dialysis session once dialysis patient ka na?
According to google:

“Dialysis is a treatment for people whose kidneys are failing. When you have kidney failure, your kidneys don't filter blood the way they should. As a result, wastes and toxins build up in your bloodstream. Dialysis does the work of your kidneys, removing waste products and excess fluid from the blood.”

So since hindi na makakapag release ng excess fluid ang body natin kasi hirap na tayong umihi or ang iba wala na talagang ihi, tinutulungan tayo ng pag da-dialysis para ma linis ang mga toxins at mabawasan ang excess fluid sa luob ng ating katawan.

Kaya ang payo ko sa mga dialysis patients natin jan na magbabasa nito, wa’g kayo mag skip ng dialysis session niyo. Kasi walang ibang makakatulong sa ating mga sarili kundi tayo lang din. Kaya importante nga “obedient” tayo or “sumunod” talaga tayo sa ating dialysis schedule. 😊

📌 Unsa ang HYPOTENSION og unsa ang cause ngano magka hypotension ang usa ka dialysis patient?

Daghan kaayo rason ngano mag mubo ang blood pressure sa usa ka patiente. Pero atong istoryahan ang isa sa pinaka common, ang dako nga hatak sa tubig saatong lawas. Usahay naa ra gyu’y sakto nga dapat kuhaon saatong lawas, kung masubraan kini mao ning mag ubos ang blood pressure sa usa ka patiente. Maka balo ka nga imong gina bati hypotension na kay ga aksyon na ka og kasukaon or kalipungon.

Ang dapat angay buhaton diretso kay e inform inyong nurse or doctor sa gibati aron matabangan mo nila diretso. Ayaw antos antosa kay delikado ni og ma dugayan.

Amping kanunay mga ka bato ❤️
