𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒐𝒑. 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆. 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝑴𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒍𝒆 🎄🩸

Guided by the spirit of giving, the 𝐂𝐔 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡, together with the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 – 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 and the 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐂𝐔𝐌𝐂), came together to turn compassion into hope through this 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲.

From 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 to the 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, volunteers from 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬filled the lobby with courage and kindness. Whether 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 or 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 , everyone shared the same purpose—𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬.

By the end of the day, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐲-𝐬𝐢𝐱 (𝟒𝟔) 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 were recorded. More than numbers, 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐛𝐚𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 became a promise of healing and reminder of the 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 within the CU community. Even those unable to donate showed 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 that truly mattered.Our 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 goes to everyone who participated and supported this cause. Because of you, 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧, and 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝.

On 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, we came together at the 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟑 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 for our HIV Awareness event with the theme “𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.” The morning was charged with 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, and a collective dedication to 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 and safeguarding each other.

This event aimed to empower participants with 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐇𝐈𝐕; 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 to obtain safe screenings, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 to stay informed, and 𝐰𝐡𝐲 awareness is crucial. Through open conversations and interactive learning, students were encouraged to take ownership of their health and become champions for a safer, well-informed community. 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 were also given the opportunity to participate in HIV testing, and free condoms were distributed as part of promoting safe practices and responsible sexual health.

As a committed advocate for 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, the Red Cross continues to play a vital role in 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. Through education, volunteer efforts, and outreach initiatives, it ensures that communities 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and are inspired to 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. The organization’s presence reinforced the powerful message that 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, with compassion as our guiding principle.

We extend our 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 to the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧–𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 (𝐃𝐎𝐇 𝐂𝐇𝐃-𝐍𝐌), and the 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏). 𝐻𝑜𝓅𝑒 𝒾𝓃 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎 𝐻𝒶𝓃𝒹, 𝒞𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓃 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎 𝐻𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉

Last November 22, 2025, the Capitol University Red Cross Youth Council touched the hearts of the little ones.

𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐨𝐲 is a shelter home for children who have faced life’s cruelty at such a young age. Yet despite their struggles, their smiles shine with hope—strong, bright, and inspiring.

The RCY lent a helping hand and precious time to offer moments that made their little hearts beat fast with joy, excitement, and genuine happiness. Beyond games and bonding moments, the council also conducted a series of educational and life-saving activities to empower the children with knowledge they can use in their daily lives. These included:

Through these activities, we not only shared smiles but also equipped them with essential skills for their safety and well-being.

In addition, we are sincerely grateful to the officers, council members, and to our dearest advisers 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐜 and 𝐌𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥 who worked tirelessly to make this program possible. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the faculty of the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, to 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 who generously offered their support, and to the 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐨𝐲 for welcoming us and allowing us the privilege of spending time with their children. Your combined efforts and hospitality made this outreach a truly meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

This outreach was more than an activity—it was a chance to spread love, uplift young spirits, and reaffirm our mission as Red Cross Youth. To serve with compassion, humanity, and a heart that never stops giving.
