The activity runs from ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, delivering ๐๐ซ๐๐, ๐ฌ๐๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ measles-rubella vaccines to children aged ๐โ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ through fixed, outreach, and mobile vaccination sites across the city.

The Department of Health Center for Health Development - Northern Mindanao (DOH CHD-NM) welcomed the visit of DOH Undersecretary Robert Escolango, together with Director David Masiyado, Jr., and Mr. Angelo Cruz, as part of a series of official site visits across Northern Mindanao to monitor the ongoing MeaslesโRubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA).
During the visit, Usec. Escolango toured key health facilities and program sites in the region, including the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, San Simon Health Center, and a site visit at Northeastern Misamis General Hospital. Their itinerary also covered MR-SIA monitoring activities in Misamis Oriental, visits to the TRC Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro, and a visit at the DOH CHD-NM Compound.
Through these efforts, the Department continues to highlight the importance of strong coordination between national and regional offices to address implementation gaps, improve coverage, and strengthen efforts to prevent measles and rubella outbreaks across Northern Mindanao.

Usa ka amahan nga taga Purok 10, Baliwagan, Balingasag, Misamis Oriental ang nagpahayag sa iyahang pagsuporta sa libreng bakuna alang sa kabataan. Isip usa ka ginikanan sa upat ka anak, iyahang gituohan nga ang bakuna usa ka importante nga panalipod aron malikay ang seryosong mga sakit.
Iyang ginadasig ang tanang ginikanan, ilabi na ang mga amahan nga magkahiusa sa pagsuporta sa pagpabakuna ug dli magduhaduha sa pagpadala sa ilang mga anak, alang sa ilang kaluwasan ug maayong kaugmaon.

Boosting Universal Health Care via
FOURmula One Plus (F1 Plus)

Good health and well-being is regarded as an important factor towards human development and improving onesโ way of life. Thus, access to primary and tertiary quality healthcare, both the preventive and curative sides, are among the topmost concern of the agency in order to realize the new vision of DOH for the country: โFilipinos as the healthiest people in Southeast Asia by 2022, and Asia by 2040โ.
This is what the new leadership of Secretary Francisco T. Duque III wanted to uphold as his priorities in accelerating the implementation of the Universal Health Care with a theme โBoosting Universal Health Care via FOURmula One Plus (F1 Plus)โ, which he espoused few years ago as the former Health Chief. With its new strategic focus, the DOH shall embark on institutionalizing a people-centered Service Delivery Network by engaging the sick, engaging the healthy, engaging the affected population and engaging the special groups; and leading a whole-of-society collaboration at all levels to help people live healthy by combating top risk factors through diet, physical activity, smoking cessation campaigns and prevention of road traffic injuries while sealing productive and collaborative engagements with a multiple range of stakeholders.
Through these efforts, continuation of priority health programs begun by former Health Secretary Paulyn Jean Ubial under the Philippine Health Agenda (PHA) was reaffirmed by the new chief which will be merged in one strategic approach through FOURmula One Plus.
In addition, the Secretary reiterates that DOH shall also undergo health reforms in terms of public satisfaction and responsiveness to patients and the public and the renewed commitment to pursue the Performance Governance System to improve DOH systems and strategies in order to achieve its long-term vision of guaranteeing equitable, sustainable, and quality health care for all Filipinos. Likewise, the health chief will also prioritize the needs of the health sector service delivery as well as the health workforce in improving in the agencyโs service delivery among the poorest, marginalized and disadvantaged areas in the country.
