Utokay by Geek Wars: Halloween Edition is a fundraising trivia event organized by Rotaract Kalayaan CDO, 7HS Media Productions, Limketkai Center, and Geek Wars.

Our objective is to raise funds for our ongoing project for Home Care for Girls.

To join, all you have to do is:

• Form a team of five (5)
• Think of a witty team name

Hi, Geek Warriors!✨

UPDATE:

We’ve decided to merge our Oct. 29 and Nov. 04 Utokay by Geek Wars as both events are for a similar cause.

Utokay by Geek Wars - Post-Halloween Edition will be on November 04 at Limketkai Mall, around 6pm.

We’ll be sharing a pre-registration link as we’re raising funds for an ongoing Home Care for Girls project. There’ll be a registration fee of PhP250 as well.

Here are some photos of the first day of our Home Care for Girls project. This is an activity that uses performing arts (music, dance, creative writing, acting, visual arts) as a form of therapy/emotional support for the girls at Home Care. They are victims of abuse and neglect, and some are orphans.

After the initial workshop last Saturday, we have two more sessions. This will give the girls more than enough time to prepare for their recital, which will be held sometime in January 2024.

Our next session will be on creative writing and (if schedule permits) music.

We hope you’ll support us and Rotaract Club of Kalayaan CDO, Oro Teatro Bulawanon, and 7HS Media Productions in the successful implementation of this worthwhile project by joining us on November 04.

We promised two Geek Wars Utokays on fiesta weekend, so here’s the 2nd one!

DTI has partnered with us once again for this year’s Kahimunan Northern Mindanao’s Misamis Oriental Day. For those of you who joined last year, I’m sure you remember how much fun we had.🤗

So, we hope to see you on August 27 (that’s a Sunday) at 2pm at SM Uptown! Same mechanics:

• Max of 5 pax per team
• Fun, unique, geeky team name

No registration needed for this event, but we hope you can be at the venue before 2pm as our friends from DTI have prepared an activity you should all take part in. It will be fun, I swear!🤗

Congratulations to the winners of Utokay, a Geek Wars Afternoon Trivia Game at the recently concluded Higala, Kaon Ta!

It was an extra exciting afternoon as we had to have two tiebreakers. We ran out of tiebreakers so I had to use an entire category that was supposed to be for later this month. Good job, Geek Warriors!👏🏼
