๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆ BOSES SA BAHAGHARI: Coming Out with Truth and Independence ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆ

This Pride Month, we invite you to an empowering and heartfelt conversation on the diverse lived experiences of individuals with varying SOGIESC (S*xual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, and S*x Characteristics).

In a predominantly conservative and Catholic country like the Philippines, discussions around SOGIESC are often silenced, met with discomfort, or denied entirely. For many LGBTQIA+ individuals, this silence becomes an emotional burdenโ€”intensifying everyday challenges like academic and career pressure, family expectations, relationship struggles, and societal conformity.

These personal battles are compounded by systemic discrimination, internalized stigma, and the invisible weight of minority stressโ€”leading to mental health issues that too often go unacknowledged and unsupported.

This webinar aims to break that silence. Together, weโ€™ll tackle these realities, open minds, and spark change.

Letโ€™s create a safe space to begin the conversation, shift perspectives, and build a society that embraces diversity and empowers all genders.

โœจ Open to youth leaders, SK officials, LYDOs, and mental health advocates nationwide!
๐Ÿ“Œ Certificates will be provided.

On May 28, 2025, YouRHealth MisOr successfully held a meaningful webinar in observance of the International Day of Action for Womenโ€™s Health under the theme, โ€œIn Solidarity We Resist: Our Fight, Our Right!โ€ This event brought together youth leaders, advocates, policymakers, health professionals, and community members to unite in defending and advancing S*xual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Through expert-led discussions, participants gained valuable insights into the current SRHR situation in the Philippines, including barriers and opportunities, and learned about the vital role of youth in driving positive change.

The program was hoted by John Gabriel Allones and featured keynote talks by Jetro G. Resonar and Dr. Junwerlo Ng, followed by an interactive workshop focused on countering misinformation surrounding SRHR. We are deeply thankful for the strong support and funding from the Womenโ€™s Global Network for Reproductive Rights and for the valuable partnership with the Local Government Unit of Tagoloan, which made this event possible. The webinar fostered a spirit of solidarity, inspired collective action, and strengthened connections among diverse groups committed to gender equality, social justice, and sustainable development. It was a significant step in empowering individuals to advocate for womenโ€™s health and rights, emphasizing the importance of standing together against anti-rights challenges.

Now is the time to mobilize, speak out, and take a stand. Letโ€™s not allow the oppositionโ€™s agenda to derail our collective fight for SRHR and justice!

We rally under the theme: "In Solidarity, We Resist: Our Fight, Our Right." โœŠ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’œ

Last May 24โ€“25, 2025, YouRHealth proudly joined the Healthy Philippines Alliance of Youth Network Health Agenda Workshop held at B Hotel, Quezon City.

This powerful two-day event brought together passionate youth advocates from across the country to identify pressing health priorities, evaluate policy and program gaps, and craft a unified, youth-led health agenda.
