Earlier today, this video presentation was the first of many that was presented during the District 3870 Grants Management Seminar.

The Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro through the Rotary Foundation and our partner The Rotary Club of Gwangju Moran, Korea purchased Neonatal Warmers, Incubators and Ventilator which were then turnover to the J.R. Borja General Hospital last February 25, 2025 and received by no less than the City Mayor Rolando Klarex A Uy with Dr. Michael Perez, Acting Chief of Hospital and Dr. Geenen Macadaeg.

The handover was lead by Rotary District 3870 AG/IPP Zeanette Jo Q. Cuevas (Project Proponent) together with President Dr. Alvin Quinon, District Governor Hubert Quiblat, Immediate Past District Governor Gilda “Gigi” Go, DRFC/PDG Manuel “Manny” Along and DGE Marlowe Selecios.

This was a product of the the combined efforts of Rotary - The Magic of Rotary in Creating Hope in the World with our "Future Hope for Fragile Babies Global Grant".

Congratulations to PAG Jo Cuevs Zeanette Jo Q. Cuevas and our partners on this profound accomplishment that many preterm neonates and mothers in the community can benefit from.

The Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro of District 3870 and the Rotary Club of Gwangju Moran of District 3710, South Korea - officially handed over a Warmer, Ventilators and Incubator to the Neonatal Department of J.R. Borja General Hospital through the collaborative efforts of The Rotary Foundation.

The Magic of Rotary, Creating Hope in the World - Global Grant: 2457258 “Future Hope for Fragile Babies” is a project providing for much needed equipment for Neonates at the JRB General Hospital.

The handover was lead by Rotary District 3870 AG/IPP Zeanette Jo Q. Cuevas (Project Proponent) together with Presient Dr. Alvin Quinon, District Governor Hubert Quiblat, Immediate Past District Governor Gilda “Gigi” Go, DRFC/PDG Manuel “Manny” Along and DGE Marlowe Selecios. The recipients/benfeciary our CDO Mayor Klarez Uy, Dr. Michael Perez, Acting Chief of Hospital and Dr. Geenen Macadaeg were present and accepted the NICU equipment on behalf of JR Borja General Hospital.

We welcome our Magic of Rotary, 2024 - 2025 Club President of the Rotary Club of Kalayaan Cagayan de Oro Dr. Alvin Quinon, a resident Medical Doctor Specializing in Nuclear Medicine at the Capitol University Medical Center.

He formally took oath and the responsibility - ringing the Rotary Bell as Club President during the 26th Induction and Handover Ceremony held at the Malipayon Hall of the Xavier Estates Clubhouse just last Saturday, July 20, 2024.

Together with his Spouse Beth, we congratulate them for taking on the challenge for a whole irresistible year to usher in the Magic of Rotary to our Local Community and the World.

Our Guest of Honor was none other than our Irresistible District 3870 Governor Hubert B Quiblat accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Past Assistant Governor Kat B. Quiblat.

We also Congratulate Immediate Past President & now Assistant Governor Zeanette Jo Q. Cuevas together with her Spouse Atty. Jowette Cuevas for a splendid and record breaking Create Hope in the World Rotary year!
