Dr. Ken Tablizo is a graduate of University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. He had his residency training at Rizal Medical Center Department of General Surgery. He successfully completed his Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic fellowship (PAPRAS) in Rizal Medical Center (Consortium 1). He is affiliated in various hospitals namely Tricity Medical Center, Ortigas Hospital and Healthcare Center and World Citi Medical Center. CLINICAL & PROCEDURAL DERMATOLOGY
Dr. Abelaine Venida-Tablizo is a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society where she is currently the chair of the Leprosy Subspecialty group and the past head of the PDS Task Force. She is an active consultant in the department of Dermatology of Rizal Medical Center. She is currently the VP of the Rizal Dermatology Services, Training&Research, Inc. and a member of the Skin Research Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. She had her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas. She had her Dermatology residency training at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, where she graduated as the chief resident. She had further training focusing on Infectious Dermatology, Allergology and Trichology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany under a scholarship grant from the International Society of Dermatology. She had several trainings on Laser and Procedural Dermatology. She headed the development of the first Leprosy Clinical Practice Guidelines and Clinical Pathways of the Philippines in partnership with the DOH, Int’l Leprosy Association and WHO. She received recognitions, the most recent was given by the Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation, Inc. Dr. Ma. Luisa Abad-Venida is a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society where she is part of the Board of Advisers. She is a Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Dermatology of Jose R Reyes Memorial Medical Center. She was President of the Philippine Society of Cutaneous Medicine, the founding chair of the Dermatology Department of JRRMMC and the founding president of the Skin Research Foundation of the Philippines, Incorporated. She received her medical education at the UERMMC. She had her dermatology residency at the Dermatology Research Training Center of the Department of Health. She had further studies in the Institute of Dermatology in Bangkok, Thailand, as a Colombo scholar in “2nd International Group Training. She is a recipient of several awards such as Int’l League of Dermatological Societies award in the field of Humanitarian Dermatology, Outstanding Physician awards from Phil Medical Assoc & JRRMMC and an Outstanding Fellow for Research by the PSCM.
