‼️DOH, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE, SANIB-PWERSA SA PAGPAPALAKAS NG TB RESPONSE SA BANSA‼️

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na kooperasyon sa pagitan ng Estados Unidos at Pilipinas, ipinagkatiwala ng United States Department of State (US DOS) sa DOH ang suportang pangkalusugan para pagtibayin ang tuberculosis (TB) detection at mapalawak ang access sa gamutan kontra TB sa bansa.

Kabilang sa health commodities mula sa suporta ng US DOS ang:

✅TB medicines para sa 230,000 pasyente
✅12 ultraportable X-ray machines

Kaugnay nito ang pakikipagkasundo para sa katuparan ng Strategic Objective Agreement ngayong taon na mas pagtitibayin ang pagtutulungan ng dalawang bansa para sa pagtataguyod ng kalusugan ng mga Pilipino.

Game on, Safety First!

Before the whistle blows and the games begin for Sports Festival 2026, we're making sure our most important play is already set: SAFETY.

The CCC Health Services Office together with the CCC Supreme Student Council wrapped up "Game On, Safety First: Basic First Aid Preparedness" orientation to ensure we're ready for every spirit, jump, and goal. Big thanks to everyone who joined us to learn the essentials of Standard First Aid. Let's keep the energy high and the injuries low!

The Sixth Sense of a Nurse

They told us about five senses
to see, to hear, to touch, to taste, to smell.
But nursing taught me there’s a sixth.

The one that stirs before a monitor alarms.
That draws you to a bedside
just as a breath falters.
The one that whispers, *“Check again,”*
when every number looks fine.

It’s the sense that feels the room grow heavy
before anyone speaks.
That knows when a family needs silence,
not answers.
That catches the tremble behind a patient’s smile
and stays, just a moment longer.

You won’t find it in textbooks,
or learn it in labs.
It grows quietly
in sleepless nights,
in held hands,
in heartbreaks that never quite heal.

Call it instinct.
Call it empathy.
But we know better.

It’s the sixth sense of a nurse
the one that feels life
even as it’s slipping away,
and love
long after the room falls silent. #
