Sometimes, love means knowing when to let go. ποΈπΎ
Today, we had to make one of the hardest decisions in veterinary medicine β to gently and peacefully put a beloved patient to sleep, to finally end the pain he could no longer fight.
He once battled bravely. After undergoing tumor removal, his biopsy revealed lymphosarcoma. Despite this, he was given two more beautiful months of life β months filled with care, comfort, love, and devotion. He was never neglected. He fought hard. His furparents fought hard. And we fought hard with them. π€
Euthanasia is never an easy choice. It is not giving up β it is choosing peace over suffering, especially when pain has already taken so much. This decision is always carefully thought of, never rushed. Before the procedure, every step is thoroughly explained β what will happen, what to expect, and how we ensure that the pet feels no pain, only calm and rest.
We always encourage families to stay with their pet, to talk to them, hold them, and say their final goodbyes β because in their last moments, what matters most is love, familiarity, and comfort.
To the furparents, your love was never lacking. Your pet did not leave this world alone β he left surrounded by care, dignity, and endless love.
Run free, brave one. Thank you for fighting so hard. ππΆ
