The Provincial Government of Bohol, led by Governor Aris Aumentado, welcomed the delegation from the Municipality of Calape, led by Mayor Sulpicio Yu Jr. and Liga ng mga Barangay President Kap. Sergio Tesorio, during their courtesy visit to the Governor’s Office on October 20.

During the visit, the delegation also informed the Governor on the realignment of funds intended for the improvement of the stage and flooring of the Calape Cultural Center. Updates were likewise discussed on the water development project in Pangangan, for which a resolution has already been issued by the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB).

The barangay captains were reminded to submit their resolutions identifying their respective priority projects to qualify for assistance from the Provincial Government, as support is extended to all municipalities. It was likewise emphasized that barangays with unliquidated projects will not be eligible to receive new financial assistance until proper liquidation of previous funds has been completed.

The Provincial Government of Bohol expresses its appreciation to the officials of Calape for their visit and reaffirms its full support for the continued progress and development of the municipality.

Announcement: Partial Resumption of Classes

Considering that earthquakes and aftershocks are still felt, we would like to inform everyone that classes will resume by tomorrow, October 14, 2025 for private and public schools, elementary and high school, assigned to ground floor classrooms only.

Classrooms on upper floors (2nd and 3rd floors) are temporarily prohibited to conduct classes until further notice due to the recommendation from our Municipal Engineer and LDRRMO for deep structural analysis from experts.

School Heads are enjoined to please check for updated room assignments to if needed, otherwise, ALTERNATIVE MODES of learning shall be used - synchronous/asynchronous online classes or modular learning - so our students can keep learning safely.

As to BISU - Calape Campus, resumption or suspension of classes is under the discretion of the Campus Director as the structural analysis of their buildings were conducted by their own Technical and Engineering Team pursuant to a memo from BISU Main.

EARTHQUAKE UPDATE & CLASS ADVISORY

CLASS ADVISORY:
In the interest of public safety, FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES in all levels (public and private) are SUSPENDED on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Learning shall continue using ALTERNATIVE MODES — synchronous/asynchronous online classes or modular learning — so our students can keep learning safely at home.

School Heads, Teachers and School Personnel are requested to immediately report to our office if damages or irregularities of school building and facilities are noticed.

Reminder to Parents:
Parents, please be responsible in reminding your children to STAY AT HOME. This is not a vacation, but a precautionary measure for everyone’s safety.

Tabangi ko ninyo, mga ginikanan, nga dili maglaag ang mga bata. Let us use this time to reflect, pray, and stay safe together as a community. 🙏🏾

Sumala sa ilang gipahibalo, mogahin sila ug panahon kausa sa usa ka semana nga mobisita sa mga pasyente nga angay bisitahan sa kabarangayan.

Mapasalamaton ako sa atong mga dedikadong physical therapists ug sa tibuok wellness team nga walay puas sa pag-alagad ug pag-amuma sa mga pasyente.

Pinaagi sa padayon nga suporta sa LGU, atong gipalig-on ang mga programa alang sa rehabilitasyon ug kalig-on sa panglawas kay ang panglawas sa katawhan, mao gyud ang usa sa atong inspirasyon ug priyoridad sa pagserbisyo.

Tungod sa makuyaw nga kahimtang sa taga Sitio Kairay gumikan sa miaging linog, atong gihiklin ang 11 ka pamilya didto padung sa Barangay health center hangtud nga luwas na sila sa kadautan. Kuyog nila Engr. Meriam Villamor, MDRRMO, ug Mrs. Laarni Piodos, acting MSWDO, naghatud kita ug mga ayuda nga pagkaon para sa ilang konsumo sa pipila ka adlaw.
