Along with the celebration of the PYAP 49TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY, the Calatrava MSWDO conducted a poster making contest and was participated by the following organizations who actively shows thier untiring support to PYAP with a theme "Pagpapahalaga ng Bawat Kabataan sa Kalusugang Pang-Kaisipan Tungo sa Matiwasay na Kinabukasan". Each participant shows their hidden skills and talents which was defined by the finest panel of judges.

It was a successful activity for the PAG-ASA YOUTH ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES 49TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY. Behind this activity was the full support of the Brgy. Tigbao Council who approved that their community will be the host for the planting activity along with the coordination of the ff.

" 1st Peer Educators Training at Municipality of Calatrava 2023"
Last March 28-30, 2023, there were 25 youth leaders coming from the invited six (6) schools and one (1) parish church in the Municipality of Calatrava completed the Three Days (3) Peer Educators Training held at Multi Purpose Hall Guest House. And these are the New Peer Helpers who completed the 3days training.

The Peer Educators Training was supported and Funded by LGU Calatrava headed by the Municipal Mayor Hon. Marilyn A. Era through the office of Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Maam Ma. Eunelle A. Ulgasan, RSW, OIC-MSWDO. The three days training was conducted and facilitated by Maam Rhodora Aloquin-Tomarong, Population Program Officer I, PopDev Div, Mr Eric Mariposa, Lead Facilitator/Speaker, President of Youth For Peace Movement-Northern Negros Chapter, Miss Marijel Yonzon, MSWDO Youth Focal Person, Mr Luis Albarico, MSWDO- Youth Coordinator and Mr. JB Booc, Population Program Worker.
This training aims to teach the young people to make decision about concrete directions in life. To reduce percentage in teen-age pregnancy & succeeding pregnancy and to produced prevalence of HIV & drug abuse. Lastly, this training aims to encourage the youth to step out of their comfort zone and to explore or know more about themselves and the world. "Kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.", this is what our National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal said. We aim to be an effective peer educators not only for ourselves but also for our society and for our country.
