REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9482 “Anti-Rabies Act of 2007”

Sec. 11. Multa.
(1) Ang mga may-ari na hindi pinarehistro o pinabakunahan ang kanilang alaga ay pagbabayarin ng Dalawang libong piso (₱ 2,000.00).
(2)Ang mga may-ari na tumanggi na pabakunahan ang kanilang alaga ay pagbabayarin sa bakuna na kanilang alaga at sa mga makakagat ng kanilang alagang a*o.
(3) Ang mga may-ari na tumanggi na pa-obserbahan ang kanilang a*o matapos na makakagat ay papatawan ng Sampung libong piso (₱ 10,000.00) na multa.
(4) Ang mga may-ari na tumanggi na pa-obserbahan ang kanilang a*o matapos na makakagat at hindi binayaran ang gastusing medikal ng nakagat ng kanilang a*o ay papatawan ng Dalawampu’t limang libong piso (₱ 25,000.00) na multa.
(5) Ang mga may-ari na tumanggi lagyan ng tali o leash ang kanilang a*o habang nasa labas ay papatawan ng Limang daang piso (₱ 500.00) na multa sa bawat paglabag.
(6)Ang na-impound na a*o sa ibibigay lamang sa kanyang mar-ari matapos magbayad ng multa na Limang daang piso (₱ 500.00) hanggang Isang Libong Piso (₱ 1,000.00).
(7)Ang mahuhuli at mapapatunayan na nagbebenta ng karne ng a*o ay pagbabayarin ng hindi bababa sa Limang Libong Piso (₱ 5,000.00) at makukulong ng isa hanggan apat na taon.
(8) Ang mahuhuli at mapapatunayan na kinukuryente ang a*o bilang euthanasia ay pagbabayarin ng hindi bababa sa Limang Libong Piso (₱ 5,000.00) bawat insidente at makukulong ng isa hanggan apat na taon.
(9) Kapag ang lumabag sa batas ay dayuhan, siya ay papabalikin sa kanyang bansa pagkatapos ng kaniyang parusa.
