I am Teresita, 70yrs old, and a retired teacher. Last August 2014 I was diagnosed with malignant thyroid cancer categorized as stage 3. The doctor told my 2nd son that I would survive for 3 years. I wasn't aware of it. Surgery was immediately performed in my right thyroid...after which was RAI (Radio Active Iodine) type of chemo every 6months. Aside from that, there was also bone therapy (zoledronic) to prevent my skeletal system from further damage since it was found out that my sternum was partly affected by cancer cells. Such bone therapy was every 28 days. Last September 2019 I went back to the hospital for radiotherapy another type of chemo to kill again the cancer cells causing tumor in my neck region.
