TO ALL FILIPINO SEAFARERS! If you are: •Repatriated o pinababa ng barko dahil nagkasakit na sugatan/naaksidente o namatay habang ikaw ay onboard. •About to finish their medications within 120 days or under medication. •If Finish Contract and have an underlying illness, it is a must to report on your respective company within 72 hours (3 days) upon arrival in here in the Philippines to inform of your condition to undergo Post Medical Treatment. If any illness or disease is found, it is the company's obligation to treat a seaman. Here are the benefits you can get here in the Philippines; 1. Free medication here in the Philippines. - The medication of a Seafarer who has an accident, was injured or fell ill while on board takes 120 days. But if within 120 days the company doctor notifies that the medication or treatment needs to be extended, this is where the so-called PERIOD OF EXTENSION of 240 days medication comes into play, which is stated in the new law. So, it's the doctors call or prerogative if its extended or not the medication and it needs to be reported or documented. 2. SEAFARERS whose under medication (Repatriated ONLY) will have a basic salary or Sickness Allowance for 4months, and they can reimburse all their transportation expenses. After the Medication or within 120 days from the time the seaman had contracted an illness or injury, he should be assessed or declared disabled or fit to work. If he is not satisfied or contented with the doctors findings, he has the right to appeal or contest. 3. A SEAFARER is entitled to FILE his DISABILITY BENEFITS to obtain greater benefits from their Insurance, to do this requires the assistance of a Maritime Law Office. A seaman has more benefits if he is a member of a UNION or may (CBA) Collective Bargaining Agreement ang kanyang barkong sinasakyan like TCC, JSU, PNO, ITF, AMOSUP, etc. Once you are a legit member of any of these automatically you are entitled to get the maximum compensation benefits that is due to you. Kung Ikaw ay may kamag-anak or kasamahan at kakilala, please bring them to our office so that we can provide them with the correct and adequate information and to get their right amount of benefits they deserve and do not rely to their agencies' promises.. There are only three real benefits of a seafarer;

Kung kayo po ay SEAMAN may kakilalang Seaman na REPATRIATED or "PINABABA" ng barko dahil contracted sa illness (Nagkasakit like meningitis, Heart Diseased, Kidney and etc) injury and accident (Spine Lumbar and etc).or even death while on duty. Maari po kayong kumonsulta sa aming opisina. Nakakasiguro po na kayo ay matutulungan ng aming "Maritime Law Office" upang makuha ang disability claim at iba pang benefits sa mas mabilis na paraan.
