“Barracks Health Center proudly joins the celebration of Newborn Screening Week! 👶💗
As part of our commitment to maternal and child health, our team conducted a lecture on Newborn Screening (NBS) for our pregnant clients during their prenatal consultations.

Through this activity, we aim to raise awareness on the importance of early detection and treatment of congenital disorders because every baby deserves a healthy start in life. 💕

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated health workers and our soon-to-be moms who actively participated in this advocacy. Your support truly makes a difference!

Inaanyayahan po ang lahat ng buntis na muling bumalik sa Barracks Health Center sa darating na Lunes, Setyembre 22, 2025 para sa kanilang prenatal check-up at follow-up services.

⏰ Pakiusap na dumating sa tamang oras at dalhin ang inyong Mother and Child Book o anumang kaugnay na record.

Ang inyong kalusugan at ng inyong sanggol ay aming prayoridad. 💙

Wala po muna tayong pagbabakuna para sa mga sanggol bukas (September 11, 2025) dahil magkakaroon po kami ng Bakuna Eskwela sa Tala ES.

Magbabalik po ang pagbabakuna sa Martes (September 16, 2025).

"Adolescent Health & Nutrition Program"

On September 5 2025, the Barangay Hall of Barracks became the venue for a meaningful health program focusing on Teenage Pregnancy Awareness and Healthy Diet for Adolescents.

This initiative was a collaboration between the Barangay and the Adolescent Health Program, ensuring that the youth received the right knowledge and support to build a healthier future.

We were honored to have Ms. Dolly Valenzuela RM IV, AHDP Manager as our guest lecturer and Ms. Maritess S. Fernando, RND, District Nutrition Program Coordinator. Their expertise provided valuable insights on health, nutrition and responsible decision-making among adolescents. The event was well-attended by youth participants who actively engaged in the lectures, games and interactive activities.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay 186 Health Nutrition Staff (BNS) and the Health Workers of Barracks Health Center for their dedication and most especially to our Barangay Captain Hon. Jess Basmayor for his unwavering support that made this program possible.

Truly this collaborative effort highlights the importance of unity, guidance and bayanihan in empowering our adolescents toward a brighter and healthier future.

Inaanyayahan ng Barracks Health Center ang lahat ng mga buntis na dumalo sa isang mahalagang pagsusuri para sa kalusugan ng ina at sanggol:

📅 Setyembre 17, 2025 (Miyerkules)
🕗 Magsisimula ng umaga
📍 Barracks Health Center

Isasagawa ang mga sumusunod na LIBRENG TEST:
✅ HIV Screening Test
✅ Syphilis Test
✅ Hepatitis B Test
✅ Blood Typing

💡 Bakit mahalaga ang mga pagsusuring ito?
• Upang masiguro ang kalusugan ng buntis at ng sanggol
• Para maagapan ang posibleng sakit bago pa manganak
• Para makapagbigay ng tamang gamutan at payo mula sa ating mga health workers
• Upang magkaroon ng kompletong talaan ng kalusugan ng ina habang nagbubuntis

👉 Hinihikayat ang lahat ng buntis sa Brgy. 186 na dumalo sa itinakdang araw at oras.
Ang maagang pagpapasuri ay hakbang tungo sa malusog na pagbubuntis at ligtas na panganganak.

💡 Ang Cervical Screening ay mahalaga upang maagapan at maiwasan ang mga sakit gaya ng cervical cancer. Huwag palampasin ang pagkakataon na masuri at matuto tungkol sa kalusugan ng kababaihan.

• Kung may PhilHealth Number, dalhin na rin ang PhilHealth ID upang ma-enroll sa Yakap Program ng PhilHealth
