Isang mainit na pagbati at taos-pusong pasasalamat sa mga 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗦 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗮 para sa kanilang malinaw at makahulugang infographic na tumatalakay sa tunay na gawain ng mga parmasyotiko sa ating lipunan. 👏👏👏
Mula sa pagtiyak ng tamang dosage at ligtas na paggamit ng gamot, hanggang sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa doktor at pagbibigay-gabay sa pasyente, ipinapakita sa likhang ito na ang pharmacist ay hindi lamang taga-abot ng gamot, kundi eksperto sa kalusugan na nagbibigay ng tamang impormasyon, proteksyon, at pangangalaga.

Tunay na kaagapay sa kalusugan ng bawat Pilipino, ang mga parmasyotiko ay naroroon sa botika, ospital, klinika, at maging sa pharmaceutical companies upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng bawat gamot na ating iniinom.

Ang gawaing ito ay tumutugma sa adbokasiya ng PPhA CAMANAVA Chapter na itaguyod ang tamang kaalaman sa tungkulin at kakayahan ng mga pharmacist, lalo na sa panahon ngayon kung saan mahalaga ang mapagkakatiwalaang impormasyon sa kalusugan.

𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊! Last July 13, 2025, the Philippine Pharmacists Association - CAMANAVA Chapter joined the medical mission at SAMAKA Court, Barangay 14, Caloocan City by distributing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to residents.

This initiative is part of our chapter's strong advocacy for Rational Drug Use — promoting safe, effective, and responsible use of medicines. 💡💊

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Pharmacists play a vital role as medicine experts, educating the public on proper dosage, preventing misuse, and ensuring that every medication taken is appropriate to the patient's condition.

𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐚𝐫 “𝐄𝐠𝐚𝐲” 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞

The Philippine Pharmacists Association – CaMaNaVa Chapter, recently paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Congressman Edgar “Egay” Erice of Caloocan City. The meeting was a productive exchange of ideas on public health advocacy and youth empowerment.

We shared our chapter’s active campaigns on:
💊 Rational Drug Use
♻️ Proper Medicine Disposal
🎓 Pharmacy Career Orientation for Junior High School students — nurturing future healthcare professionals by introducing them to the vital contributions of pharmacists in community health.

We also discussed the rights and responsibilities of licensed pharmacists:
🔹 To ensure safe and effective medication use
🔹 To educate the public on proper drug handling and disposal
🔹 To serve as accessible, trustworthy healthcare professionals within their communities

In line with this, our chapter firmly stands against the selling of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines in sari-sari stores, which poses serious risks due to improper storage, lack of patient education, and the absence of professional oversight. We emphasized that medications must be handled only by licensed professionals to ensure public safety and protect the integrity of healthcare delivery.
We thank Congressman Erice for his openness and shared interest in promoting health-centered legislation and youth-focused programs. We look forward to potential partnerships that strengthen both the pharmacy profession and the health literacy of our communities. 🌿💊👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

During the visit, we proudly introduced the initiatives and advocacies of our chapter, centered on promoting the vital role of pharmacists in the healthcare system. We play a critical role in ensuring access to quality healthcare, guiding responsible medicine use, and supporting disease prevention efforts in communities.

Health knows no boundaries—even in the courtroom!
The 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒔 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 - 𝑪𝒂𝑴𝒂𝑵𝒂𝑽𝒂 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 proudly visited 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 at #78 11th Avenue corner 9th Street, East Grace Park, Caloocan City, to share multivitamins with their hardworking team.
As part of our advocacy, “𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭: 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞,” we also provided educational leaflets to raise awareness on the rational use of medicines—because taking the right medicine, at the right time, for the right condition can make all the difference.
