A great way to unite people and demonstrate our love for our hometown was through the parade. The children had an opportunity to learn the value of cooperation and watching out for one another.

This unique day served as a reminder of the strength of unity. Let's continue to encourage our children to be compassionate, engaged, and kind members of our society. We can create a better Camalig together!โœจ๐Ÿค

Quitinday mural brightens school walls in celebration of National Arts Month

A burst of color and creativity transformed the Quitinday Child Development Center (CDC) this month, as young artists from the Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) and the Camalig Children Organization participated in a mural painting activity.

The event, held in celebration of National Arts Month 2025, aimed to not only beautify the school but also empower young artists and showcase Camalig's artistic spirit.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Municipal Tourism and Cultural Heritage Office (MTCHO), in partnership with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Department of Tourism (DOT), Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Councils of Quituinday, Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), and the participating youth organizations. It was also graced by Camalig Municipal Councilor Hon. Purisima "Ching" G. Nocedo.

The mural project served as a platform for young artists to showcase their talents and contribute to the beautification of the establishment. The initiative also aligned with national creative industry initiatives, fostering a supportive environment for young artists to express themselves and develop their skills.

Through this collaboration, Camalig continues to establish itself as a hub for creative expression, nurturing the talents of its youth and enriching the cultural landscape of the community.
