New Year means new resolutions. Start the year right by building on the BASICS of your skincare routine!
1. Cleanse- use a gentle cleanser that matches your skin pH. It should not leave your skin feeling stretched afterwards.
2. Moisturize- use a moisturizer that matches your skin type. Gel or water based for oily skin. Creams for dry and sensitive skin. This will help the barrier function of your skin.
3. Protect- use a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF30-50 for daily use to delay aging brought about by sun/UV exposure. Antioxidants like Vitamin C are good additives too.
For your skin concerns, don't forget to consult your board certified dermatologist for a healthy 2021!

When friends become patients too. Last consultation before the year ends. Looking forward to a better 2021. 🙏🙏🙏

What is Psoriasis?

It is an inflammatory skin condition that presents with red scaly lesions on the skin and scalp, damages the nail and may also be accompanied by joint pains. The lesions are often itchy and may affect activities of daily life.

Psoriasis may be hereditary but is not infectious, hence, we should not discriminate people suffering from this condition.

If you have family members or are suffering from Psoriasis, please do not self-medicate. Consult your board-certified dermatologist
for options to control this skin condition.

_____
