The Ilocos Sur Medical Center (ISMC) has received a report that an individual is falsely using the name of our Medical Center Chief, Dr. Angel D. Trinidad Ill, to solicit funds from a company, allegedly for charity work or under the pretense of being a philanthropist.

We would like to strongly emphasize that Dr. Trinidad has never initiated, endorsed, or authorized any solicitation of funds in any form or for any purpose. Any letters, calls, emails, or messages claiming to be from him or any member of his office are unauthorized and fraudulent.

ISMC strictly prohibits and does not engage in any financial solicitation, especially from contractors, external partners, or the public. These fraudulent acts are a serious misrepresentation of the institution and are not aligned with ISMC's values and official operations.

We urge the public to be cautious and to disregard any suspicious communication of this nature. Do not respond, provide any personal information, or transfer funds to individuals or entities claiming to represent Dr. Trinidad or ISMC in any charitable or financial matter.

If you have been contacted, victimized by scammers or have received fraudulent messages, calls, or similar deceptive schemes from individuals using the name of the Medical Center Chief, his secretary, or any member of his staff, please report the incident immediately to llocos Sur Medical Center through the following official contact details: 0962 574 8610

This year's Nutrition Month campaign, spearheaded by the National Nutrition Council (NNC) under the mandate of Presidential Decree No. 491 (1974), places a strong emphasis on recognizing food and nutrition security as an essential human right. Amid continuing challenges of malnutrition and food insecurity affecting millions of Filipinos, the observance advocates for a united effort across all sectors to guarantee consistent access to safe, sufficient, and nutritious food for every Filipino.

Anchored on the main theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” and the sub-theme “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority, Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin,” the campaign calls on both government and society to treat food and nutrition security as a collective and urgent priority.

Spearheaded by Deputy Speaker Kristine Singson and the Local Government Unit of Candon City, led by Mayor Eric D. Singson, the "Kadiwa ng Pangulo Para Sa Manggagawa" outlet will bring together businesses and sellers offering products at low prices from agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Department of Agriculture (DA).

Opening tomorrow in Candon City, Ilocos Sur, during the Kalayaan 2024 celebration, this initiative will showcase affordable local products and provide a job fair for the residents of the 2nd District of Ilocos Sur.
