Last August 14, 2024, two months after the Kanlaon Volcano eruption, the World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with the Department of Health – CHD 7 and the Provincial NIP Supervisory Team, conducted a supportive supervision visit in our city’s immunization program. This activity formed part of their advocacy to strengthen partnerships and health systems by expanding the delivery of basic health services to our constituents. One of the highlighted services was our immunization program, which remains a top priority of the city and is fully supported by our Local Chief Executive.
Fast forward to today — we are honored to be featured in the WHO Regional Director’s report, a testament to our city’s continuous commitment to protecting every child through immunization.

Gipasidunggan si Mayor Batchuk Cardenas isip usa sa Top Performing Mayors sa Negros Oriental base sa resulta sa Pulso ng Bayan Survey alang sa unang 100 ka adlaw sa iyang katungdanan ug sa ikatulong kwarter (3rd Quarter) sa tuig 2025.
