June 11, 2025 — Simultaneous Conduct of Bayanihan Gardening and Bayanihang Bulilit at Child Development Centers in Cantilan.

The Municipality of Cantilan witnessed the simultaneous conduct of Bayanihan Gardening and Bayanihang Bulilit at various Child Development Centers.

The Bayanihan Garden initiative, part of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) efforts, aims to support the implementation of the Supplemental Feeding Program (SFP) as outlined in its guidelines. This endeavor not only enhances food security and child nutrition but also strengthens the bond between families, fostering a sense of community among participants.

On the other hand, Bayanihan Bulilit focused on preparing the centers for the upcoming school year. Activities included refurbishing facilities to ensure they are ready to deliver effective Early Learning Programs

These collaborative activities involved children, parents, Punong Barangays, Local Officials, and community workers and volunteers. MSWD personnel were also present to document the events and provide support.

A special thank you to LGU Cantilan - Municipal Agriculture Office for providing the vegetable seeds used in the gardening initiative.

Bawal kini ilawom sa Republic Act No. 9231 o ang Law to Eliminate the Worst Forms of Child Labor and Protect Working Children.

Unsa ang Child Work?
