Dra. Gillashe Calamay, our Municipal Health Officer (MHO), attended a session of the Sangguniang Bayan where she presented the benefits and advantages of the PhilHealth Konsulta program to the LGU and the community. She also discussed the proposed additional PPAs (Programs, Projects, and Activities) for inclusion in the 2026 Annual Investment Plan, which will require corresponding Sangguniang Bayan Resolutions for approval.
She was joined by Mr. Jed Tan Saluib, our Municipal Nutrition Action Officer (not in the photos), who provided an update on the current status of the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) implementation in the municipality. He likewise shared information on the Performance-Based Grant for Tranche 2, amounting to ₱4.8 million, and outlined the requirements needed to qualify for the said funding.
